The Happenings of Another Summer Past

Alright Folks Here We Go,

The year 2011 is coming to an abrupt end and all I have to say is... what a year it's been! This winter marks my fourth season working with Aspen/Snowmass SkiCo and I have to point out that its looking to be another great season and, I am also looking very forward to 2012. A lot has happened to me in the months of this last year including but not limited to; new skate sponsors, a band that has way too much fun, new job opportunities, and a new partner in crime, the lovely Maria. I'd like to share some of these 'happenings' with all of you via some great photography done by some close friends. Hunter and Ashley. The first set comes to you from the Denver stop of the 2011 Vans Warped Tour where I was given a chance to prove myself among the elite skating community of Denver Colorado along with my Epic Apparel Team mate Edward Sanchez.

This was an awesome time but I think some of my favorite times this summer were going around Denver and  just gettin shots in where ever we could. Here are some shots from Governors Park, West High School, and the 303 Warehouse in Denver.

Thanks to Hunter, Dag, and Kline for making these shoots possible! Really great stuff and hope to do more soon. So obviously skating was a huge part of my summer but I was also kept busy with playing drums for Speaker Monster which, I gotta say, are some of the greatest couple of guys to play some tunes and kick it with. We started out last winter, debuting at the Bad Billys closing party and continued rocking out after the Friday night concerts in Snowmass at the Mountain Dragon. Thanks to Moe and the crew over there for sure! We put a couple shows under our belt at the Eagles Club in Aspen then hit Denver courtesy of Nick Dolan drummer for local bands the Dendrites and the Repercussions. Venues in Denver that we hit include; Club 404, Cervantes The Other Side, and the Lions Lair. We ended 2011 in downtown Aspen where we played Halloween night for a very lively and super packed Cantina Watering Hole. Here are some snap shots of those crazy times.

Again thanks to anyone and everyone that made these shows possible for us and a HUGE thanks to Hunter Barr for all the sick photos!! And last but NOT least I will leave you, the beautiful reader, with a couple photos of me and the only reason all this was possible. My beautiful woman, my main motivator and life partner the lovely miss Maria.

Thanks to all for reading. Stay tuned for more content. Cheers!!
